Our program includes Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) and Judo sessions\, catering to all skill levels\, whether you’re a seasoned practitioner or new to the mats. In addition to martial arts\, we will focus on wellness activities that promote physical and mental health\, including mindfulness practices\, yoga\, and workshops on resilience and stress management. \nTeam-building activities are at the heart of our camp\, fostering a spirit of unity and support. SUMMARY:2023 Remembrance Day Wellness camp
DESCRIPTION:Our one and only FREE wellness camp for the year will be run over the Remembrance Day weekend (November 9th-12th) and is on offer to current and former serving ADF Community\, their allies\,US\,UK\,RSA\,CAN)\, and our own first responders (Police\, firefights\, and Paramedics). \nOur mission with these camps is to provide an educational 4-day seminar with our Multi-Disciplined Team (MDT) both on and off the mats at our world-class facility on the Gold Coast. The Veterans Grappling Foundation Team will consist of Black Belt instructors of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) and Judo\, Physiotherapists\, Exercise Physiologists\, Clinical psychologists along with subject matter experts in body language\, meditation\, resilience\, recovery methods\, and goal setting. \nThis four-day intensive camp will provide the attendee with a wealth of knowledge in “staying on the path” to life after service.
